Nice short film, it took a while between the transfer and the film done... but here we are with a nice morning feeling, cute music with the hangover monsters getting into John's nose !

I did my first music video in the US with Mister Jake Schreier, it was a few weeks after I arrived last year. Since then, we've worked together almost every time Jake had the opportunity to choose his colorist and I'm very thankfull he did so !

Brandi Carlile was a nice music video. I liked the concept from the beginning and now that I've lived long enough to know the city a little more, it is more than a concept, it is reality !
I'm amazed every time it rains by the number of umbrellas abandonned, dumped around the corner just because of a broken rib.






Not too long ago, I graded this Bluevan group music video for him, he couldn't make it for the session so we worked via emails and references. In session, facing the footage I couldn't really feel fully satisfied, and during the transfer I finally found it, the right grade. I sent the stills to him and Dan Maloney who cut it, and suggested to do a tape to tape to match this new look. We all liked it, so we went back in session for this tape to tape (ie : after the cut being done and approved) and went for this cool but warm look that reminds me of some vintage footage, that feels pretty good with the band and the room.
